Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an On-site Wellness Coach located in Miami-Dade County, FL. The Wellness Coach will work directly with employees to provide personalized coaching, group presentations on health topics, facilitate wellness programs, and conduct group or one-on-one sessions focused on health and fitness. Responsibilities also include delivering nutrition and lifestyle education, supporting wellness challenges, and actively engaging with employees to promote participation and motivation toward achieving their health goals. The role involves close collaboration with company teams to foster a culture of well-being in the workplace. Qualifications Expertise in Group Health Presentations, both virtually and in-person Wellness Coach Certification from a nationally recognized organization Expertise in Health & Wellness, including practical knowledge of fitness and healthy living strategies Experience and skills in Wellness Coaching and one-on-one Coaching to support individuals in achieving their goals Strong interpersonal and Customer Service skills with the ability to build relationships and motivate individuals Knowledge of nutrition and dietary planning to provide comprehensive health guidance Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively on-site in a dynamic and collaborative environment Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Health Sciences, Fitness Management, or a related field is desirable Key Responsibilities: Empower customers to become active participants in their own health outcomes. Designs, facilitates & evaluates the effectiveness of wellness programs that educate & influence employees at the worksite to lead healthy lifestyles. Establishes rapport with plan sponsors and engages leaders in data-driven decision-making regarding support for their employees. Support wellness champion network, including different levels of employer leadership and employees from the worksite. Identifies & coordinates an appropriate combination of wellness activities & recommendations for the delivery & coordination of wellness programs, community & vendor programs, & monitors the program's effectiveness. Manages wellness allowance expenses towards eligible wellness expenses & ensures maximum benefit to the client while remaining within budget. Evaluates & presents health assessment data, organizational assessments, claim utilization data, employee survey data, biometric screenings, or other data as appropriate. Utilizes preventive guidelines & general health & wellness strategies to achieve goals in the overall health of customers. Develops communication pieces, including newsletters & flyers, to promote aspects of the well-being strategy. Performs research on relevant topics in health promotion and disease prevention, as required for specific customers. Educates & refers customers to available health and community resources as appropriate. Serves as subject matter expert on wellness & health improvement opportunities available within Aetna & the community. Provides support & training for sales partners as needed. Success in this role is driven by a strong sense of teamwork and the satisfaction of knowing your contributions directly support the achievement of healthy and sustainable lifestyles. All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to GHF HIPAA and Privacy Policy. Attend all live/ virtual staff meetings and contribute ideas for class and program enhancements. Utilize biometric values and motivational interviewing techniques to collaborate with customers to drive improvement in clinical outcomes. Identify customer health education needs through targeted health assessment activities. Collaborate with clients to establish health improvement plans, set personalized evidence-based goals, and support customers in achieving those goals. Provide support for health-related site events, which include open enrollment, wellness committee facilitation, flu shot events, health fairs, etc. Lead and support a variety of Health and wellness promotional activities, such as group coaching, wellness challenges, and Health-related seminars.
