FL We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Electricians
specializing in pools for high and low-voltage systems to join our
team. The selected contractor will play a crucial role in ensuring
the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within our
retail facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in log-out/tag-out procedures, switchgear, and circuit
breaker maintenance, with a proven track record of delivering
quality electrical services in a retail environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES System Installation and Maintenance: Install,
maintain, and troubleshoot high and low-voltage electrical systems
in accordance with local codes and safety regulations. Regularly
inspect and perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment,
including switches, circuit breakers, and distribution panels, to
ensure optimal performance and safety. Log Out-Tag Out Procedures:
Develop and implement effective lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures to
ensure the safety of personnel during maintenance or repair
activities. Train on-site staff on proper LOTO protocols and
conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance. Emergency Response:
Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, ensuring a rapid and
effective resolution to minimize downtime and minimize disruptions.
Collaborate with other maintenance and operational teams to
efficiently address electrical issues. Energy Efficiency and
Optimization: Identify opportunities for energy efficiency
improvements and provide recommendations for optimizing electrical
systems. Implement measures to reduce energy consumption while
maintaining operational efficiency. Code Compliance: Stay updated
on electrical codes and regulations, ensuring all work complies
with relevant standards. Coordinate with local authorities for
inspections and approvals as required. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all electrical installations, repairs,
and maintenance activities. Generate regular reports on the status
of electrical systems, highlighting any issues or recommendations
for improvement. QUALIFICATIONS Licensed Electrical Contractor:
Hold a valid electrical contractor license with a focus on high and
low voltage systems. Experience: Proven experience in electrical
work within retail environments, demonstrating expertise in
switchgear, circuit breakers, and LOTO procedures. Safety Focus:
Strong commitment to safety protocols and practices. Communication
Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and
resolve electrical issues efficiently. Team Player: Ability to work
collaboratively with other maintenance and operational teams.
